Rectorship Overview Christ Church is a welcoming community seeking a full‑time rector who will lead with energy, vision, and compassion. The rector will be grounded in scripture and prayer and walk beside us as we grow together in Christ’s love. Responsibilities include thoughtful preaching, a caring pastoral presence, walking with the congregation through both challenge and joy, building on our strengths, welcoming current people into our life of faith, and deepening our connection with the wider community. Qualifications: solid spiritual leader and communicator who connects meaningfully across generations; warmth, humour, and authenticity; ability to inspire and lead both worship and outreach. Our parish is located in Amherst, Nova Scotia, and holds two Sunday services: an 8:30 am Holy Eucharist without music and an 11:00 am Holy Eucharist with organ, choir, and songs.
