is currently seeking professional
Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver . The Driver can be based out of Concord, Cambridge and Brampton, Ontario.
As a Linehaul Driver, you'll run longhaul routes from Ontario, U.S. Eastern Seaboard, and through the Maritimes back through Ontario/Quebec while consistently following company procedures and maintaining high safety standards.
Schedule : Run starts Saturday, takes around five days to complete.
What we offer:
Canadian miles: $0.611 per mile.
USA miles paid in CAD: $0.637 per mile.
Safety and fuel bonus paid quarterly.
Pick-ups, drops, and wait times are paid (restrictions apply).
Uniform allowance.
A flexible health, drug, dental, and vision plan.
RRSP matching program (5%).
Employee&Family Assistance Programs.
Health&Wellness reimbursements, includes gym memberships, fitness classes or online workout programs.

Responsibilities
Running Linehaul between the Maritimes, United States eastern seaboard, and Ontario/Quebec.
Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey.
Qualifications
Education Required: High School or GED.
Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 4 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
Eligibility to cross the border with US.
Familiarity with satellite systems.
Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
Safety conscious.
Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends
