Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Plant Location: Shediac, NB (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Plant Manager About Us We are a quick-paced cabinet manufacturing facility committed to high-quality production, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Our plant operates a range of automated and semi-automated equipment and we’re looking for a hands-on maintenance technician who can keep machinery running reliably and safely. What You’ll Do · Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and plant systems. · Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions. · Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs to minimize production downtime. · Maintain electrical panels, sensors, wiring, and basic control systems. · Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. · Collaborate with production personnel to prioritize maintenance needs. · Assist with installation and setup of new equipment. · Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage. Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or electronics preferred. · Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or machine repair. · Working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques. · Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. · Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
