Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor(s) and/or Operations Manager(s), this position is responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of all public areas while contributing to a protected and welcoming work environment. Ensures adherence to the Company''s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian''s learning setting while establishing a protected and welcoming work workplace for all team members. Key Accountabilities Vacuums hallways, ceiling vents, meeting rooms and general public areas Cleans and dusts fixtures, ash urns, walls, linen rooms, signs, sconces, stairwells, door frames, public telephones, etc. Delivers housekeeping items to offices as requested Maintains all housekeeping storage areas Polishes chrome and other materials requiring special care Cleans offices Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members) Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Performs other duties as assigned or directed Education and Qualifications High School Diploma Minimum 1 year housekeeping/janitorial experience Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License Work Environment Considerations Standing or walking for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, cleaning, some exposure to heat and cold, some exposure to smoke, non-traditional work hours Minimum Rate (CAD $) | Minimum Salary (CAD $) 17.60 Job Rate (CAD $) | Midpoint Salary (CAD $) 21.68 Maximum Rate (CAD $) | Maximum Salary (CAD $) 21.68 Great Canadian Entertainment is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply to join our team of unique contributors.
