Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost‑effective management of inventory and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, expertise in warehouse management systems, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain logistics. This role involves supervising staff, managing materials, and implementingprocess improvements to optimize warehouse performance.Duties
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Manage and utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and AS400 to track inventory levels and streamline workflows. Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.Plan and execute demand forecasting, demand planning, and freight logistics to meet customer needs efficiently. Oversee warehouse distribution activities including 3PL partnerships and freight management. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations through effective materials management.Develop and implement process improvements for continuous operational efficiency and cost reduction. Manage budgeting related to warehouse operations, including staffing, equipment maintenance, and supplies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits. Lead initiatives for process improvement and supply chain optimization to enhance overall warehouse productivity.Skills
Proficiency with Warehouse Management System (WMS). Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Expertise in order fulfillment, materials management, and warehouse distribution processes. Experience working with 3PL providers and managing supply chain operations.Skills in process improvement methodologies such as continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to operate forklifts safely; relevant certification preferred. Familiarity with budgeting processes related to warehouse operations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation.Strong analytical skills for demand forecasting and supply chain optimization. Benefits
