Light Duty Cleaner, Isthmus of Chignecto (River Hébert)

General Description A janitor is generally responsible for the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces and carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin. Other responsibilities could be included.

Schedule Monday to Friday - Part-time Days&Evenings

Responsibilities

Clean floors (mopping, sweeping)

Daily cleaning of washrooms, offices, lockers rooms and lunchrooms

Empties and cleans garbage cans

Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors

Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins

Dusts and damp wipes office equipment

Additional duties may be required from time to time.
