Home Construction Installer, Isthmus of Chignecto (River Hébert)

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Installer Home Construction to join a new team in the construction of small‑footprint homes in cluster communities. Reporting to the Construction Lead, you will work as part of a two‑person team and be responsible for the construction and completion of compact, right‑sized stick homes, along with installation and carpentry of modular home finishing components.Responsibilities

Construction and completion of compact homes and installation of interior finishing components. Completing company‑provided safety training and following safe working practices. Following instructions from company training manuals, images, and videos. Maintaining organization of tools and materials to optimize workflow.Keeping worksites clean to minimize hazards and disruptions. Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during construction, promptly addressing potential setbacks. Ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. Training and mentoring new employees. Participating in safety toolbox meetings and progress updates on project status.Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: drywall&wall preparation, trim and finish work, door framing and installation, flooring, priming/painting, cabinet&counter installation. Previous experience and/or education or apprenticeship in construction or carpentry. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from worksites. Strong safety awareness and high level of attention to detail. Ability to follow dimensional plans, work processes, and standards.Moderate physical strength and stamina, with the ability to perform demanding physical tasks.
