Job Summary Elm Ridge Country Club is seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions Take orders accurately while providing excellent customer service Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Engage with guests to create a positive experience, addressing any questions or concerns promptly Assist in food service when required, including serving snacks or light menu items Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed should demonstrate hospitality skills that foster guest satisfaction and loyalty Pay: From $25.00 per hour Perks Discounted or free food In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2netag
