Overview Elm Ridge Country Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong kitchen skills, and experience in food preparation and safety protocols. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food handling and storage complies with safety regulations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders Restock supplies as needed to keep the kitchen well-organized and prepared for service Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting under pressure Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent teamwork skills and valuable communication abilities Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed Passion for the food industry with a desire to grow culinary skills over time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Advantages Discounted or free food Flexible schedule On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nfaln
