Portables Driver - Class 5, Duncan

GFL Environmental is looking for a **Portables Driver** to join our team in **Duncan, British Columbia!** An Ideal candidate will safely operate pumper truck and auxiliary equipment on an assigned route to service customers in a safe and efficient manner. Deliver, pick up, clean and service portable units, wash stations and holding tanks. Deliver collected waste to disposal site. **Why Join TEAM GREEN** - Excellent Health, Vision, and Dental benefits - Retirement savings options - Possible Over Time - Excellent work life balance **Work Schedule:** any 5 days per week & 2 day off, rotational **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections - Perform driver check-ins at days end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion - Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner - Follow all protocols while dumping loads at facilities - May perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager - General yard clean-up - Assist with set up and take down of temporary fencing - Proactively participate in GFL safety culture and training - Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks & knowledge of industry an asset - Other duties as assigned **Requirements**: - Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License, Air brakes endorsement is an asset. - Physically intensive: ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively using proper lifting techniques - Exposure to weather elements, noise and dust - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Strong customer focus - Knowledge of the city and surrounding areas #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
