Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team in a fast-paced production kitchen environment. The ideal candidates will have a passion for Ukrainian food and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. This role is great for someone who would like to work with a fun group of people who like to eat! Responsibilities - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. - Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients accurately, shredding cheese, making dough in a mixer, boiling and mashing potatoes and boiling pierogies. - Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Qualifications - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is preferred but not required - we can train you! - Ability to work cleanly and with attention to detail - Ability to work unsupervised once trained - Strong focus on cleanliness and organization - Excellent teamwork skills - we love collaboration and sharing ideas - Able to work in Canada with a valid SIN and/or work permit What we provide you - A fun and inclusive environment where we are respectful towards each other - An prospect to learn about making pierogies and other Ukrainian food - Flexible schedule - Lunch!
