LOGISTICS MGMT SPEC (Cherry Point)

Position Description You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the MRO Logistics Department of FLTREADCEN EAST. Position Duties/Responsibilities - You will serve as the acknowledged expert for logistics support and provides logistics support decisions to FRC East management. - You will research and coordinates with Production, engineering, cognizant FSTs, PMAs, DLA, NAVSUP, etc. to resolve logistics support issues. - You will Identifies P-Part and M Part requirements, replacement rates, incorporation or management of technical data changes and schedule impacts on material forecasting or maintenance planning effectiveness for FRC East. - You will provide proactive logistics support assistance that will focus on supply support, technical data, maintenance planning and management, and design interface. - You will work with Production and Engineering to identify corrections needed for technical data (manuals and Local Engineering Specification (LES)). - You will coordinate with DLA, NATEC, DMISA or NAVSUP specialists and FST personnel to identify and resolve supply support or technical data issues for the FRC East command. - You will analyze supportability and readiness information systems and report on performance of material or technical data processed. - You will develop/provide recommendations for improving the system design, support system design and/or maintenance process design. - You will identify process improvement initiatives and participates in Lean, AIRSpeed and 5S or Root Cause Analysis (RCA) events in functional area assigned and production as requested by management or customers.
