One True Love and Light exists to support people in their "God help me" moments in life. Providing prayer support, tangible help, and gathering people together for outdoor worship and revival events that see the Holy Spirit move in incredible ways which create lasting change and effect on the lives of those we encounter. Role Overview As an Administration and Human Resources Volunteer, you serve as the organizational engine of our ministry. Your role is to ensure that the "boots-on-the-ground" team is well-supported, organized, and equipped to facilitate our mission from the Cowichan Valley across Canada. Commitment & Logistics - Time Requirement: Approximately 3–10 hours weekly. - Meeting Frequency: Regular check-ins as needed for operational flow. - Format: Primarily web-based (video conference/digital coordination), allowing for participation from anywhere, with occasional in-person options for those local to Vancouver Island. Core Responsibilities (Admin & HR) - Application Processing: Manage the intake of new volunteers, ensuring applicants are screened and moved through the selection process efficiently. - Onboarding & Training: Facilitate the orientation of new team members, ensuring they understand the "immediate action" mandate and our Christian mission. - System Integrity: Maintain and oversee administrative systems to ensure digital records and organizational tools are kept orderly, functional, and secure. - Ministry Support: Assist in aligning personnel with specific roles (Worship, Tech, Prayer, etc.) to ensure the organization remains an effective resource for compassion and revival. Spiritual Mandate - Surrendered Leadership: Must be 18+ and have publicly declared the Lordship of Jesus Christ over their life. - A Blameless Walk: A contractual commitment to live a life of integrity and reverence, submissive to the Father’s will through the process of sanctification. - Kingdom Discernment: Seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance for all organizational decisions to ensure they align with the Great Commission. While all positions are currently voluntary, we hold immense faith and expectation that the Lord will do incredible things as we transition into the ability of providing paid roles. Expanded Mission Opportunities The Administration & Human Resources role is a small time commitment. We are currently seeking dedicated workers in the following areas: - Board Members: Leading strategic oversight of the organization - Worship & Tech Teams: Leading the atmosphere of revival and managing audio/visual production. - Logistics: Coordinating the physical move of events from the Cowichan Valley across the country, applying for regional permits, etc. - Prayer Teams: Providing the spiritual foundation for our National Prayer Line and live events. - Media & Advertising: Spreading the message and capturing what God is doing through digital storytelling.
