Manager Of Engineering For Duncan

Take charge of engineering initiatives as the Manager of Engineering in the City of Duncan. Oversee infrastructure projects while enhancing community livability and sustainability. This full time role reports to the Director of Public Works and Engineering. You will lead capital projects, manage assets, and direct technical team efforts in accordance with municipal engineering practices. Your leadership will foster innovation in project management and public engagement. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage engineering capital projects • Direct mapping and asset management activities • Supervise engineering staff and contractors • Establish relationships with local governments and First Nations • Effectively communicate with the public on projects Requirements: • Engineering degree or diploma • At least five years in municipal engineering roles • Eligible for membership with Engineers and Geoscientists BC • Extensive knowledge of BC development regulations • Demonstrated leadership in a unionized setting Bring your engineering knowledge to the City of Duncan to make a tangible difference.
