Overview We are having a Hiring Fair, Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 10:00 am - 1:30 pm Join the Team at Island Farmhouse Poultry. We have openings for cross-functional team members working in various departments, including Production, Sanitation, and Live End Workers. Various Positions to fill, as soon as possible. Job duties for each position are included but not limited to: Production Workers - Operate poultry processing equipment and perform general labour tasks - Preparing orders for shipment - Work in multiple departments of the plant during your shift - Follow all safety, quality, and animal welfare standards - Stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures. - Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Sanitation - Clean and sanitize production equipment using industrial pressure washers - Maintain overall cleanliness of the plant in compliance with food safety standards - Accurately complete cleaning records and documentation - Follow all health, safety, and quality assurance protocols - Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting - Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision - Basic mechanical aptitude preferred - Forklift experience is a plus (not required) - A dependable, team-oriented attitude Live End - Ability to work with Live Birds - Work Safely and efficiently in a fast paced environment - Adhering to Animal Welfare standards at all times - Ability to work in the elements (rain, heat, snow etc.) - Dependable, with the ability to work as part of a team - Reliable, on time with a strong work ethic What We Offer - Competitive wages - Extended Health Care - Company matched RRSP - Staff Sales on quality Poultry Products - Free Parking - Company events If you are interested in one of our available positions, have reliable transportation, and a excellent work ethic, we want to meet you!
