Description
As a Pharmacy Technician at Rexall, you’ll ensure excellence in patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency. Your Patient focused responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
Responsible to ensure accurate process flow related to patient records retention.
Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions.
Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system.
Complete documentation i.e. Third party management and reconciliation, patient files, prescriptions, printing reports, invoices etc.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dispensary.
Support the pharmacy team with inventory management.
This role is filling an existing vacancy on the team.
Qualifications
Completed a Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College (Required).
Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam (Required).
Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists (e.g. O.C.P.) (Required).
1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment.
Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required.
