We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team for residential and commercial installations throughout the Cowichan Valley. Requirements: - Journeyman Electrical Certificate - Valid Class 5 Driver’s license - Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills - Practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment - Knowledge of safe operation of tools and equipment - Ability to work both individually and in a collaborative setting Responsibilities: - Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults - Using appropriate hand and power tools, assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures - Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties - Ability to drive and manage a work van Assets: - Experience in Residential & Commercial projects Compensation: - 40 hours a week; Monday to Friday - Opportunity for growth and advancement - Hourly wage based on experience Experience: - Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - Class 5 Drivers Licence (required) Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2old52
