About the Role: As a Technical Architect at Kellton, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions that support enterprise-wide systems for our clients. You will play a crucial role in our development lifecycle, driving the adoption of best practices in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). You will operate as the senior-most technical person on an engineering team and will provide valuable input, feedback, and leadership through your knowledge and experience. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Develop and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker. Write code using Python (and other languages) to improve system functionality. Design and implement relational data models with PostgreSQL (with and without ORM assistance). Collaborate with development teams to create a seamless software development lifecycle. Promote and implement Dev Ops best practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and automated testing. Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews to drive technical decisions and consensus. Provide mentorship and guidance to technical teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends that could impact our service offerings. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Masters preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical architecture with a focus on cloud and Dev Ops. In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services and management of AWS resources. Solid experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and containerization with Docker. Proficient in a multitude of programming languages and technologies. Demonstrated experience with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Solid understanding of Dev Ops principles and practices, including experience with CI/CD tools and processes. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or other relevant technologies are a plus. Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2omco5
