Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Duties - Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience - Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS - Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards - Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling - Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures are followed at all times - Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations - Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities and enhance guest satisfaction - Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards - Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods - Provide guest services that promote a positive dining experience and encourage repeat business Qualifications - Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus - Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately - Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures - Ability to manage time efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail - Experience with food preparation or kitchen tasks is beneficial but not required - Guest service-oriented attitude with a friendly demeanor and teamwork mindset - Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and holidays as needed This position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued, and team members are supported in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
