QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant, with recent related medical and/or surgical experience, When applicants have completed this specialty training they will be moved into a regular position within the Specialty department . The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Skills And Abilities Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts, including co-workers, physicians, community agency representatives, patients, residents and families.
