This position offers an opportunity to work on complex tax matters while contributing to strategic tax planning and ensuring compliance with evolving Canadian tax regulations.


We are looking for an Accountant responsible for small business tax, corporate tax, indirect tax and managing month and year end processes, and constructing financial reports while paying attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
3+ years of related accounting experience
Ability to troubleshoot complex reconciliation issues
Experience within JDE is considered an asset
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Clear and effective communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative and team-based environment
Weekend work during month-end close, when necessary
