Warehouse Operator (Edmonton)

Position: Warehouse Operator (1) Employment Type: Full-Time/Permanent Location: 12825 - 149 Street, Edmonton AB, T5L 2J7 Schedule: Monday to Friday (overtime, statutory holidays, and weekends may be required) 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM About US: Active Warehousing is relentless in the pursuit of our goal to become the number one logistics service provider to our target markets. We are looking for a forklift operator that likes to work in a quick-paced, safety first environment. Duties and Responsibilities: - Operate warehouse equipment, including propane forklifts with clamp attachment - Exhibit strict attention to detail and maintain order accuracy - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. - Operators should be physically fit, able to stand for long periods and be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. - Report any errors, damages, or safety concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately. - Offloading rail cars. Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - 2 years of experience with Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts, (experience with using a clamp attachment is considered an asset) - Experience using RF Scanners. - Experience handling bulky and/or very large product with attention to detail and safety protocols. Working Conditions: - The work setting is a warehouse environment and may require the use of computers and other office equipment and machines. - The candidate must be able to work outside as required and may be exposed to snow, rain, heat, dust, wind, noise and uneven terrain. - The candidate must be flexible working variable hours, or overtime as expected when required. - Inside conditions include dust and noise. Limited travel may be required.
