We are looking for a Procurement Lead with strong procurement experience, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, technical environment. This role is well suited for someone who understands how purchasing decisions impact cost, lead times, and production reliability—and who can take ownership of supplier relationships and purchasing outcomes. This role plays a key part in supporting ZPC’s production, manufacturing, and inventory functions by ensuring materials and components are sourced, negotiated, and delivered reliably as the company continues to scale. What Will You Do Working closely with several key stakeholders, you will support the full lifecycle of purchasing and supplier management at ZPC. Your responsibilities will include: Owning the end-to-end purchasing process, from sourcing and quoting through to order placement and on-time delivery. Sourcing materials, components, and equipment aligned with technical and operational requirements. Preparing and issuing purchase orders with a high degree of accuracy and accountability. Managing vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing, lead times, and terms where appropriate. Tracking orders and proactively resolving delays, shortages, or supply issues. Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with internal teams to anticipate demand and avoid stockouts. Evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability, and recommending changes where needed. Maintaining accurate procurement data and documentation within the ERP system (Odoo). Identifying supply chain risks and taking proactive steps to mitigate disruptions. Contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, systems, and workflows. Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure incoming materials, components, and systems are inspected, tested, and ready for integration into production. Collaborating across teams and contributing where needed in a fast-moving, scaleup workplace. Preferred Experience / Technical Skills We are most interested in candidates who demonstrate strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage procurement in a production-focused environment. 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles. Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo or similar) in a purchasing capacity. Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships. Solid understanding of procurement principles, including cost control, lead time management, and supplier performance. Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines with minimal oversight. Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams. Proven ability to identify issues, think critically, and resolve supply challenges before they impact timely deliveries of our systems. Nice to Have / Considered an Asset Experience in manufacturing, production, or hardware-focused environments. Familiarity with technical components, materials, or fabrication-related purchasing. Experience with international procurement, shipping, and vendor coordination. Exposure to budgeting, cost tracking, or procurement analytics. Experience improving procurement workflows or implementing process efficiencies. What Will You Bring A strong sense of ownership over purchasing outcomes and supplier performance.
