Warehouse Associate (Part-Time) (Edmonton)

With head quarters based in Coteau-du-lac, Quebec (west of Montreal), Ronsco Inc. is an industry leading manufacturer and distributor of railcar and locomotive products, operates the largest independent wheelshop in Canada (Hamilton, Ontario), as well as providing railcar and locomotive repair services. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team player to join us as a part-time Warehouse Associate, working 3 days per week. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, this role supports our parts distribution business and shop floor operations by carrying out day-to-day warehouse activities safely and efficiently. Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods in the proper locations. - Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment, including required documentation. - Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently. - Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and physical counts. - Track and update inventory using SAP (training provided if required). - Handle customer-supplied materials and returns as directed. - Follow FIFO processes and monitor shelf-life items. - Help prepare stock transfers to other warehouse locations. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storeroom. - Follow all health and safety protocols. - Perform other tasks as needed to support warehouse operations. - Physically able to lift and handle items/packages weighing up to 70 lbs. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred. - Comfort with computers; experience with SAP B1 ERP is an asset but not required. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Forklift certification and other relevant safety training are assets. - Reliable, detail-oriented, and conscientious. - Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. - Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Robust organizational and time management skills. - Willingness to take on current tasks as needed. - Ability to perform physical activities.
