AboutthePosition AtBradken,aproudmemberoftheHitachiConstructionMachineryGroup,ourmissionistohelptheminingandresourcessectoroperatemoreefficientlyandsustainably.Asa LogisticsCoordinator based at our Manufacturing Plant in a Edmonton,youwillplayakeyrolewithinoursupplychainoperationsteam. Inthisrole,youwillsupportthecoordinationandexecutionofinlandtransportation,imports,andexportsofcomponentsandfinishedproductsthroughoutNorthAmerica.Youwillensurefreighttransactionsareaccurateandtransparentwhilemanagingclientcommunicationsinatimelyandefficientmanner. Youwillcollaboratecloselywithordermanagement,manufacturing,sales,andlogisticsteamstoensuresmoothdistributionprocesses.Yourcontributionswillimproveoperationalefficiency,strengthensupplychainvisibility,andsupporttheoverallsuccessofBradken'slogisticsoperations. WhatYouWillDo - Coordinate domesticandinternationalshipments,managebookingswithfreightforwarders,andensureallshippingdocumentationisaccurateandcompliant. - Support month-endprocesses,maintainlogisticsrecords,andprovidetimelyupdatestointernalteams. - Optimize freightcosts,identifyprocessimprovements,andcontributetothedevelopmentofstandardizeddistributionpractices. - Build strongrelationshipswithinternalstakeholdersandexternalpartners,suchasfreightforwardersandshippingcompanies. KeyTechnicalCriteria QualificationsandCertifications - DEC (DiplomaofCollegeStudies)inlogistics,supplychainmanagement,businessadministration,orarelatedfield. - French is a plus but not must have ExperienceandSkills - Experienceinfreightcoordinationorlogisticswithinanindustrialenvironment. - Experienceinfreightforwarding,warehousing,orprojectlogistics. - Abilitytomanagedocumentationandcompliancewithinternationalshippingregulations. - Excellentcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytocollaborateacrossteamsandstakeholders. - Analyticalmindsetwithproblem-solvingcapabilities. - Abilitytoworkbothindependentlyandcollaboratively.
