Join a agile engineering team as an Electrical Distribution Designer in Edmonton. Focus on overhead and underground distribution projects while utilizing your engineering skills and driving innovation. In this full time role, you will collaborate with engineers and technologists to design systems up to 25kV. You’ll gain hands-on training in various aspects of electrical distribution and engage in projects such as line rebuilds and voltage conversions. Technical proficiency in software like AutoCAD and Microstation is an asset, along with robust project management and communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: • Design overhead and underground line distribution systems • Conduct wire sag and tension calculations accurately • Replace overloaded transformers and optimize transformer sizing • Handle relays, equipment installations, and customer service inquiries • Liaise with stakeholders effectively Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent • Registered member of APEGA or ASET • Drafting experience with AutoCAD or Microstation • Valid Canadian Driver's License • Experience in Distribution Line design is a plus Utilize your design skills and collaborate extensively in your role to shape Edmonton’s electrical infrastructure.
