Position Overview Field / shift based role in the Geomatics Division. Responsible for surveying on large construction projects in Canada and the United States. Key Details Truck and equipment will be supplied Travel and accommodations will be paid by Phasor 20 days on, 10 days off rotation Responsibilities Perform daily field survey activities, including obtaining survey measurements and staking for infrastructure construction. Communicate effectively and regularly with Field Leads, Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Client Field Representatives. Interpret design drawings, field data, field sketches, and base maps. Coordinate field crew’s daily activities and supervise, mentor, and train survey assistants. Travel based on project location. Operate and maintain assigned survey equipment, including ATVs/UTVs/Argos, tools and materials. Actively promote Phasor’s Health, Safety and Environmental Program. Complete a background check, including identity verification and criminal background check, as a condition of employment. Education and Experience Previous survey experience in engineering, construction, or industrial surveys. Valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driver’s record. Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering is preferred.
