Recreation Aide Assistant Work In St Albert Edmonton

Citadel Care Centre is a 129-bed long term care facility located in St. Albert. We are looking for motivated and reliable recreation assistant to organize and supervise activity programs. This is a casual position. The recreation assistant will be responsible for planning and executing activity programs, supervising and assisting participants and ensuring that the facilities and equipment are clean and secure for use. To be successful as a Recreation Assistant you should be able to devise engaging and enjoyable activities. An outstanding Recreation Assistant/Aide should have a lot of patience, a positive attitude, and should be comfortable working with seniors. Requirements: Certificate in Recreation Therapy or activity planning education. One or more years experience in a similar role. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills. Strong leadership, creativity, and socialization skills. Both a team player and the ability to work and lead independently. Note: A criminal record check with vulnerable sector check is required within the last 6 months.
