Social Work Manager Hello Seniors Outreach Program At Sage Seniors Association, a powerful sense of mission influences everything we do. The Social Work Manager will provide leadership and management of the program and program staff as well as provide direct client support. The Hello Seniors program works in tandem with other senior serving organizations to provide a myriad of social work services including housing navigation support, food security resources, applying for eligible benefits and accessing resources. The Manager will also support the development of policies and procedures and evaluation. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Degree or Diploma in Social Work required, BSW preferred - Registration as a Social Worker with the ACSW is required - Vehicle and valid Driver’s License - Knowledge of issues impacting seniors and a working knowledge of community resources in Edmonton for older adults - Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in case management - Proficient communication, assessment and collaboration skills - Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector is required - Experience working with older adults, volunteers and diverse cultures The starting salary range for this position is between $58,000 - $65,317 plus 100% Employer paid Health & Dental plan and 5% matched Pension plan. Salary considerations are based on assessment of the successful candidate’s education, skills, previous experience and other factors. Sage Seniors Association offers an outstanding work life balance with a 35-hour work week, 3 weeks of vacation to start and generous sick leave accruals. Sage also observes 13 statutory holidays in the calendar year. Sage is currently offering great flexibility with a hybrid working environment (remote Fridays), and the option for a compressed work week.
