Contract Logistics Warehouse Team Lead (Edmonton)

As a Contract Logistics Warehouse Team Lead at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end‑to‑end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you will not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day‑to‑day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres, for example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. As the Warehouse Team Lead you will lead the outbound logistics team to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe order fulfillment within Kuehne+Nagel’s global supply chain operations. - Act as a liaison between your manager and front line employees - Establish team priorities and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision - Follow standard warehouse practices and work instructions required to maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracy - Document and identify all discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor or team lead - Accurately complete routine documentation, such as pick sheets, manifests, and unload lists - Perform a variety of physically demanding general labor duties according to standard work instructions, such as manually loading and unloading goods from a trailer - Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. - Capable of repetitive work including bending, twisting and reaching, following safety procedures - Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in the execution of standard warehousing processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, checking and loading customer orders and products - Participates in process‑specific training and adheres to all work instructions and guidelines established by KN to comply with regulatory standards such as ISO and GxP - Comply with GMP requirements as applicable to ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met - Follows all company safety, security and housekeeping protocols.
