Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have work experience in the trades and be interested in learning both residential and commercial painting. They must have a reliable vehicle that can get them to projects up to 60 minutes outside of Edmonton. Responsibilities: Following the project dictated by the Lead Painter which can include : Prepare painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces Use hand tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns Apply paint in various techniques including brushing, rolling, or spraying Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection Skills: Time management skills to meet project deadlines Strong customer service skills to interact with clients Experience in commercial painting for larger projects Ability to restore surfaces to their original condition Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members Knowledge of drywall repair techniques Proficiency in residential painting for homes and apartments Familiarity with various hand tools used in painting projects Skill in caulking to seal joints and seams effectively Ability to interpret schematics for complex painting projects This position offers the opportunity to showcase your painting skills across a variety of projects while working in a dynamic team setting.
