Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing / Parts Coordinator to join our team in the aggregate and gravel crushing industry. This role is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and coordinating parts and materials required to support crushing operations, heavy equipment maintenance, and plant uptime. The ideal candidate will have experience ordering industrial or heavy equipment parts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Pay Rate: $27-$30/hour Key Responsibilities Source and order parts for aggregate, gravel crushing, and heavy equipment operations Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to identify parts requirements and priorities Research and locate hard-to-find or specialty parts through vendors and suppliers Maintain inventory levels and ensure critical stock items are available Obtain pricing, quotes, and lead times from suppliers Coordinate deliveries and follow up on outstanding orders Process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records Monitor vendor performance, pricing, and availability Assist with warranty claims and returns when required Ensure parts and purchasing documentation is organized and up to date Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in purchasing, parts coordination, or procurement preferred Experience in aggregate, gravel crushing, mining, construction, or heavy equipment industries considered a strong asset Knowledge of heavy equipment components and industrial parts Strong understanding of sourcing and vendor management Ability to read parts manuals, equipment breakdowns, and identify correct components Proficient with Microsoft Office and inventory/purchasing software Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a quick-paced workplace Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset Desired Skills Strong attention to detail Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Ability to build strong supplier relationships Time management and prioritization skills Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently APPLY NOW to get your resume to an IS2 Recruiter.
