Mechanical Designer Engineer/Technologist (Edmonton)

Mechanical Technologist / Designer / Engineer Location: Edmonton, AB Salary Range: $65,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience and designation) We are currently partnering with a well-established building consulting engineering firm in Edmonton that is looking to add a Mechanical Technologist, Designer, or Engineer to their growing team. This opportunity is well suited for someone with hands‑on experience in the building consultancy / consulting engineering space who is looking to continue developing their technical and project exposure. The Role Depending on your experience level, responsibilities may include: - Mechanical system design for building projects (HVAC, plumbing, and related systems) - Preparation of drawings, layouts, and construction documents - Coordination with electrical, structural, and architectural teams - Supporting project delivery from concept through construction - Assisting with site reviews, field reports, and contract administration - Working closely with senior engineers and project managers on active projects What We’re Looking For - Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field - Experience working within a consulting engineering / building services environment - Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems for buildings - Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit - Familiarity with applicable codes and standards - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based environment Significant Note Only candidates with relevant and direct experience within the building consulting engineering space will be considered and contacted.
