Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber Helper to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, safety standards, and the ability to work with various tools and schematics. Candidates should be detail-oriented, physically capable of heavy lifting, and possess excellent problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and effective plumbing solutions. Duties - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics - Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan projects effectively - Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks safely and accurately - Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repair projects - Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues within plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements - Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC teams to coordinate project requirements - Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards - Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times Skills - Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC units, and general construction practices - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately - Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning - Experience with carpentry skills relevant to plumbing installations or modifications - Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods - Commercial driving skills are a plus for transporting materials or equipment between sites - Familiarity with schematics and blueprint reading for precise project execution Qualification - Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications - Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Physical ability to perform manual work in varying conditions - Familiarity with safety procedures and workplace standards This position offers an opportunity for skilled professionals to contribute their expertise in a energetic environment.
