We are seeking a Procurement Student for our PCL Industrial Management Inc . district, within our Canadian Industrial Division that is available for 8 months starting in September 2026. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the District Procurement Manager. As a Procurement Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by: Responsibilities Sourcing materials, services and equipment as directed and in accordance with policy and procedures. Identifying and selecting vendors to purchase requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery date. Expediting orders. Shipping and receiving. Maintaining inventory levels and records. Preparing procurement reports and documentation as required. Providing equipment administration support. Practicing PCL safety practices. Assisting in all aspects, as is reasonably available, of procurement & equipment management activities. Qualifications What you will bring to the role Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management or Operations Management specialization in a post-secondary institution. Candidates must have a robust desire to work in a construction environment. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Maintains a positive working relationship with co-workers. Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a rapid-paced, results-oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
