Career Details Job Title: CWB Welder Number of Openings: 2-3 Job Type: Full-Time/Temporary (3+ months) Minimum Level of Education: Registered Apprentice or Certificate Journeyperson Schedule: Monday - Friday (min of 40 hours a week) Locations to be Supported: Fort Saskatchewan, AB area Anticipated Start Date: Immediately Position Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Welder with strong Flux Core (FCAW) experience for shop and/or field work in the Fort Saskatchewan area. Other responsibilities include: Perform structural welding using Flux Core (FCAW) processes Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel components safely and accurately Complete welds to CWB standards and company quality requirements Operate grinders, torches, overhead cranes, and shop equipment as required Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial setting Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Support shop production deadlines and overtime requirements when needed Our Ideal Candidate Must have CWB Allpositions (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW) Certified Journeyperson or Registered Apprentice. 2-5 years of structuralfitting experience. CSTS 2020 & WHMIS required. Must have a valid Drivers License. Must be capable of physical labour. Positive written and oral communication skills.
