Position Overview As a Painter Packager at OEM Remanufacturing, you will play a vital role in ensuring all production output is properly painted and packaged for delivery. You possess a keen attention to detail and a safety mindset that allows you to perform quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Description
Responsible for preparation, final cleaning, painting, final inspection, and protective packaging of all production output.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months working in Wage Grade 1 or higher. Relevant&applicable external experience will alternatively be considered.
Preference given to candidates who fall within the value stream&qualify as defined in Schedule C (internal candidates).
Computer skills and knowledge of computer systems (MS Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively.
Ability to safely operate a forklift and other lifting equipment.
Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds.
Condition of employment: fit tested and able to wear a respirator.
Must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply with all aspects of the organization’s policies and procedures.
Note
Posting is for a static afternoon shift scheduled Monday– Thursday; 10 hours per day.
Any future shift changes will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.

Will require successful completion of drug and alcohol testing, a criminal background check, and a medical assessment.
Hourly Rate: $25.46 - $37.13 / Hour.
