Purchasing / Clerical Associate Edmonton

We are looking for a mature and self-motivated individual to join our Purchasing & Clerical team based in West Edmonton. This is a fast paced role that involves working as a team in a variety of areas such as pricing, file maintenance and other purchasing and administrative duties. Primary Responsibilities: Verify stock availability from current inventories Obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers Prepare and review requisition orders for accuracy Process purchase orders Resolve discrepancies in delivery or invoice pricing with suppliers Perform various administrative duties Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment while adhering to firm deadlines High level of attention to detail Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Team player Strong verbal and written communication Previous purchasing experience is not required but is considered a definite asset.
