Service Technician for Welding Automation, Edmonton

Become a Service Technician at LJ Welding Automation, where hands-on problem solvers thrive. This role involves extensive travel for installations and maintenance of advanced welding automation equipment.

As a dedicated part of our service team, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of automated systems at various customer sites throughout North America. Balancing your time between travel and in-house assembly, you will ensure our products meet high standards and client satisfaction. Your expertise will also guide clients in understanding their new systems.

Key Responsibilities:• Install and commission automated welding solutions • Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues • Train customers on equipment operation • Conduct preventative maintenance for optimal performance • Assemble and test equipment in the shop

Requirements:• 4+ years of experience in field service or maintenance • Strong mechanical and electrical system knowledge • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities • Legal authorization for international travel • High school diploma required; technical credentials preferred
