Job Summary The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that product is merchandised on the shelf in a timely manner, setting up and tearing down displays, and clearing any unwanted products from the shelves. The Merchandiser is required to visit different big box retail stores weekly.
This is a seasonal position from May 11th to the end of August. The role requires driving your own vehicle and the ability to lift/move 30‑40 pounds continuously. Pay is based on experience, typically $19‑20 CAD an hour.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure merchandise is displayed appropriately and strategically with proper signage and shelf placement.
Build and maintain product displays.
Bring issues and discrepancies to the attention of the Detailer or Detailer Supervisor.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Follow store safety rules and work in a safe and healthy manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education&Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
0–2 years as a representative or similar job in a big box retailer environment is preferred.
Competencies– Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Outlook.
Performs function with a sense of purpose and a degree of urgency.
Creates a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge.
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral&written).
