Part Time Warehouse Associate - Loader, Edmonton

Position Details Compensation: 23.53/hour + position/shift premiums as applicable

Shift: Part Time, Monday-Friday 5:00am to 9:00am

Position Purpose Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.

Position Responsibilities

Load orders using powered material handling equipment according to sequencing of delivery route/run list

Stack orders securely on skids according to sequencing of delivery list.

Load products on pallets checking totes/cases/cartons for quality, wrap, and stage pallets.

Maintain high attention to detail by ensuring that proper attention is given to all area, including but not limited to bailers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits and other areas as assigned.

Ensure application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number

Use the appropriate equipment, ensure that safe and efficient movement and tracking of any inbound, and outbound of stored products within the warehouse.

Maintaining inventory integrity by adhering to system processes at all times.

Perform end of shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.

Maintain clean and orderly workstation– returning supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.

Commit to safe work practices in adherence with Core‑Mark's safety policies and requirements.

Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

6+ months of warehouse experience

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to work reliably from written or verbal instructions.

Ability to apply general math skills.

Will require the ability to obtain certifications for powered equipment; such as Forklift operation.

Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position up to 10 lbs. regularly, up to 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.

Physical ability to handle objects, tools, and/or controls.

Physical ability to stand for a significant period of time and walk continuously.

Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, or crawl.

The ability to operate and/or be certified on various powered equipment.

Ability to work in a warehouse environment which will expose the incumbent to a variety of noise and potential extremes in temperature.

Preferred qualifications

Certified to operate powered equipment– Walkie preferred

Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to learn/use computer programs on the job.
