Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator and Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machine and painting final product to produce high quality signage. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and familiarity with machining processes. The CNC Operator will play a vital part in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards and manufacturing best practices. Responsibilities - Set up CNC machines according to specifications, including loading programs and tools - Operate CNC equipment to produce with precision and efficiency - Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery - Use hand tools, power tools, for minor repairs or adjustments - Assist with assembly processes when required - Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols - Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste - Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, tolerances, and material requirements - Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed to ensure a smooth finish. Apply paint or finish using spray equipment, ensuring even coverage and consistent quality. - Inspect finished products for defects and make adjustments as necessary Qualifications - Mechanical knowledge with experience in machining or manufacturing environments - Familiarity with CNC programming and operation software is preferred - Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, operation is a plus - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and assembly processes - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards - Prior experience in manufacturing or machining roles is desirable but not mandatory This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing setting. Candidates should be safety-conscious, reliable, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Position can grow into a full time position.
