Warehouse Associate - Full Time (Edmonton)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping and receiving, and operating heavy equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy to ensure smooth warehouse functioning and timely fulfillment of orders. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued to contribute effectively to our dynamic environment. Responsibilities - Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems and order picker equipment - Load and unload shipments utilizing heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes - Operate heavy machinery safely, including forklifts and other heavy equipment necessary for warehouse operations - Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control - Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing stock and maintaining a clean work environment - Assist with construction or maintenance tasks as needed within the warehouse setting - Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly - Support warehouse management system data entry and inventory updates - Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks required for loading, unloading, and stock movement Skills - Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields - Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks - Proficiency with warehouse management systems for order picking and inventory control - Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment - Physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking - Construction or industrial experience is a plus but not required - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic warehouse setting This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in logistics, heavy equipment operation, and warehouse management while contributing to efficient supply chain operations.
