Advance your career with the PRISMA group at the University of Alberta as a Research Associate in a hybrid setup located at North Campus Edmonton. Focus on genetics research in autism.
This position is a full-time appointment for an initial term of three years, reporting to Principal Investigator Dr. Daniel Moreno De Luca. As a Research Associate, you will contribute to ongoing research projects and explore new avenues in autism genetics. Your duties will also include grant application assistance and publication contributions, while also guiding team members and engaging with the community.
Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage ongoing autism research projects • Explore and develop innovative research directions • Contribute to grant writing and scholarly publications • Mentor students in research activities • Support educational and community outreach efforts
Requirements:• Experience in research or clinical settings • Background in genetics or neurodevelopmental research • Demonstrated abilities in writing and publications • Capable of collaborating in a hybrid work model • Enthusiastic about advancing clinical applications of research
