Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, ensuring a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced food service setting. This role is essential in supporting our culinary team and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. Prior experience in restaurant, kitchen, or hospitality settings is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times Ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning to prevent contamination or damage Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, food service, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of restaurant or kitchen operations is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Basic understanding of food handling and safety standards is desirable Willingness to learn current skills and work as part of a team Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 – 16.0 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oqkok
