Full-Time RECA Licensed Mortgage Agent (Edmonton)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Mortgage Agent to join our dynamic financial services team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in securing mortgage financing, providing expert guidance throughout the loan process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of financial products, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. As a Mortgage Agent, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their homeownership goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities - Assist clients in understanding mortgage options and guiding them through the application process - Evaluate client financial information to determine suitable mortgage products - Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favorable agreements - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, lending policies, and regulatory requirements - Prepare and review all necessary documentation for mortgage approval - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally - Manage cash flow and ensure accurate record-keeping of transactions and client data - Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions - Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to track applications, deadlines, and client information efficiently Requirements - Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients and lenders - Experience in customer service within financial services or related fields is preferred - Knowledge of mortgage products, financial analysis, and cash management principles - Ability to work with Microsoft Excel for data organization and reporting purposes - Excellent math skills for assessing financial documents and calculations - Multilingual or bilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse clientele - Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism - Licensed as a mortgage Broker in Alberta (RECA) This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about finance and customer service.
