About the Role Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse is seeking qualified and friendly Hosts / Hostesses to join our team. This vital role is the first point of contact for our guests and sets the tone for the entire dining experience. We are looking for organized, proactive, and positive individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments. - Key Responsibilities - Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival - Manage reservations and seating plans using iPads and reservation software (OpenTable) - Coordinate with managers and servers to ensure smooth guest flow and table turnover - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally - Maintain an organized and tidy host stand, ensuring it’s free from hazards and loose cables - Lock restaurant doors securely at the end of night shifts - Adjust music volume and ambiance according to flow and time of day - Log special requests or VIPs; notify managers when needed - Assist with takeout orders and coordinate packaging during peak hours - Mandatory Requirements - Legal authorization to work in Canada (Work Permit, SIN, or PR/Citizen) - Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays - Must be at least 18 years old - Professional appearance and communication skills - Comfortable using iPads and basic apps - Ability to stand for long periods and multitask - Willingness to follow dress code and restaurant standards - Preferred Qualifications (Assets) - Previous experience as a host/hostess or front desk agent - Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems - ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) - First Aid / CPR Certification - Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant setting - Customer-service mindset and friendly attitude - Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2os8aa
