Marketing/Check-In Representative Summer 2026 (Edmonton)

Our check in representative will be located at Kinsmen Park, and will check in all customers that are floating. They will ensure waivers are completed, sell merchandise/refreshments and ensure everyone feels comfortable prior to boarding the shuttle. They will be located at our station in Kinsmen Park until the last floater is out of the river. Responsibilities: - Ensure waivers are completed by all customers. - Distribute wristbands. - Take photos and videos of people participating in river rafting and paddleboarding on the river. - Edit and post content across multiple social media platforms. - Build content and collateral for partners. - Take calls from customers with questions. - Connect with, and book groups for rafting adventures. - Respond to customer emails and assist in bookings. - Interact with customers regularly, answering questions and ensure everyone is safe and happy. - Understand safety protocols, and what to do in emergency situations. - Upsell add on's and merchandise. - Help improve overall customer experience. - Assist in set up and take down of equipment. Requirements: - Experience in some type of customer service role. . - Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. - Strong public speaking ability. - Overall enthusiasm to create an exciting customer experience. - Ability to work under pressure - Physically fit and can lift 50lbs+ Nice to haves: - Rafting or outdoor adventure experience. - Knowledge of the North Saskatchewan River and Edmonton area. - Strong swimming ability. - First aid. - Experience using technology including MS office, G-suite and point of sale systems.
