Mover/Packer (Edmonton)

Overview We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Packer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, packing, and organizing of items of apartment, house or office. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting safely. Prior mover experience and familiarity with safe operation are a plus but not required. Responsibilities - Safely load and unload items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as tail gate and Pallet Jack when applicable (items like Couches, Dressing tables, Beds, Mattresses, etc) - Pack items securely for transport, ensuring protection against damage during transit - Assist with organizing and storing inventory within the moving site - Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate moving or packing tasks - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously - Assist with commercial driving duties if licensed and qualified, transporting goods between locations Skills - Experience in moving & packing preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently - Strong communication skills for coordinating tasks and interacting with clients - Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving is desirable - Excellent physical stamina and attention to safety standards are essential for success in this role Pay: $15.50-$17.00 per hour Perks: - Casual dress - Company car - On-site parking Application question(s): - Are you available for ON CALL Jobs i.e. short notice for work day and hours (Usually on Weekends)?
