Description
Provide essential support and strategic advice as a Faculty Relations Officer at North Campus, Edmonton. Engage with university leaders on academic staff performance and conduct. In this hybrid role, you will report directly to the Director of Faculty Relations. Key responsibilities include advising university administrators on employment issues and managing dispute resolutions. You’ll also support collective agreement negotiations and liaise with academic staff associations including AASUA, PDFA, and GSA. Key Responsibilities: Advise on academic staff conduct and performance Support collective agreement interpretation and negotiations Manage and resolve various disputes effectively Collaborate with university departments and legal counsel Liaise with academic associations and staff groups Requirements: Robust knowledge of faculty relations and academic policies Experience in negotiations and conflict resolution Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with collective agreements in academic settings Leverage your strategic expertise to enhance faculty relations and support university administrators at North Campus in Edmonton.
